The Charles County Public Library (CCPL) is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year! Since its inception, the library has provided a variety of resources to help its community engage, discover, and learn, along with library materials, databases, and programming geared towards professional development. All of these resources are available to the public with a free library card! (And while supplies last, please check out our branches for exclusive 100th-anniversary materials!)

VIRTUAL DATABASE RESOURCES

The library’s virtual database includes resources such as:

All of these databases are available through the CCPL website, under the Research and Learn tab. The library also provides a digital Employment Resource Center with many helpful links and guidelines for workforce development. Library resources and workforce-related content is often shared via our CCPL @ Home Blog, such as 10 Helpful LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda.com) Videos for Job-Hunters, and more!

VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS FOR JOB SEEKERS!

In addition to online databases, CCPL is still offering workforce resources through virtual programming. Connect 2 Success (C2S) is a series of workforce development virtual programming for young adults. Connect 2 Success 2022 kicks off in April, where the library will be offering a variety of programs, such as:
