Most of the library’s periodical collection has shifted to our virtual branch, where the collection is available anytime, anywhere.  With no wait times and more titles offered than ever before, there has never been a better time to check out the library’s digital periodicals collection!

Find hundreds of magazines, instantly available on Libby.  The Libby magazine collection includes HGTV Magazine, US Weekly, Cook’s Illustrated, Woman’s World, National Geographic, and many more!

Magazines in Libby don’t count towards Libby’s checkout limit.  They can be accessed via the Libby app, the Libby browser, or the Overdrive browser.

CCPL offers subscription access to the Washington Post online.  Browse through the headlines or delve into the various news sections, including crossword puzzles and the cooking section.

Onsite library use requires no special link or login and can be accessed from the library’s wifi or public computers.  Offsite access credentials are instructions can be found here, and each offsite login is valid for seven days.  After seven days, simply follow the access link and login again.

Thousands of text searchable newspapers are available in the Gale OneFile: News database.  Updated daily, this database contains the article text from newspapers like USA Today, The New York Times, and many more from around the world.  Gale OneFile: News can be accessed here.
