Personalized doormats are a great way to add personality to your front porch or could be a lovely housewarming gift. This project is fairly quick and easy. It is also an inexpensive and practical craft.

Supplies:

  • A blank door mat (purchased at your local hardware or craft store or online)

  • Push Pins

  • Black Flex Seal

  • Painters Tape

  • Painters  Tarp (or someplace you don’t make spray painting on)

  • Poster Board, Vinyl or Pre-cut Stencils

Directions:

Step 1: Gather supplies.

Step 2: Cut letters for your mat (using a cutting machine such as a Cricut) or use pre-cut letters.

Step 3: Tape the poster board down to mat

Step 4: Pin the poster board down to the mat with the pushpins.

Step 5: Use the Flex Seal to spray the stencils ONLY (not the rest of the doormat).

Step 6: Allow the mat a day to dry then remove the tape and pins from the mat.

Enjoy your new doormat!
