Just because you’re at home doesn’t mean you can’t go on your own adventure through time. Do you need authentic-looking old paper for your treasure hunts or other historical based activities or scrapbooking projects? Here’s an easy and cheap way to achieve that!

Materials Needed:

  • Computer Paper

  • Coffee

  • Water

  • A Large Pan

  • Step One: Tear the edges off using the flat edge of a table. This will allow the paper to soak up the coffee easily and give it a more authentic look.

  • Step Two: Put paper into the pan. Sprinkle with a little coffee grounds. Old or new coffee grounds does not matter.

  • Step Three: Lightly wet the paper with coffee or coffee water. Just enough to completely soak it. Add more grounds if you prefer. Drain excess.

  • Step Four: Leave paper to dry. Takes about 2-4 hours.

  • Step Five: Once dry wipe off excess coffee grounds. And voila! Added bonus the paper smells amazing.
