The Charles County Public Library offers book discussion groups at all of our branches.
Clark Center Book Discussion
The Clark Center Book Group meets at 1:00 P.M. on the first Thursday of every month at the Clark Center. Anyone interested in joining the group can call 301.934.9001 or email us for more information.

Homeschool Book Club
Our Homeschool Book Club features a well-known book and the movie adaptation of that book to discuss and review. Each book club meeting encourages homeschooled children to read and compare the book to the film. Walk in.
August 3rd 10am-12pm ages 6-11. This month will be led by club member Zion. We'll be reading and watching "Return of the Jedi."
September 7th 10am-12pm ages 6-11: "Diary of a Wimpy Kid," By Jeff Kinney and we will be watching the movie with the same title.
October 5th 10am-12pm ages 6-11: "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Roderick Rules," By Jeff Kinney and we will be watching the movie with the same title. This book club will be hosted by our homeschool book club member, Malachi.

Writers of Color Book Club welcomes members who enjoy reading books by authors of the African diaspora who write contemporary fiction, including urban fiction. Writers of Color meets bi-monthly.
