Join us for the Charles County Public Library’s 2024 Winter Learning Challenge, running from December 2, 2024, through January 11, 2025! This fun and interactive program invites participants of all ages to explore the world of reading through a bingo-style challenge. Whether you’re a preschooler, child, teen, or adult, there’s a bingo board just for you. Pick up your board at any library branch or download it from our website, then mark off squares as you read books that fit each category. Aim to complete a row—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally—and receive exciting prizes! Plus, enjoy special events like STEAM activities, author talks, and crafts along the way. Start the winter season with fun, learning, and a chance to win fantastic prizes!

Age Categories:

 Preschool 0-5, Children 6-11, Teens 12-17, & Adults 18+ 

How to Participate:

    Get Your Bingo Board: Participants can pick up a bingo board at any library branch or download it here:

  • 2

    Marking Off Squares: When you finish reading a book that matches one of the squares, mark it off. The same book can count for multiple squares. 

  • 3

    Bingo: The goal is to get five squares marked in a row—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally—similar to traditional bingo.

  • 4

    Prizes: Return your completed bingo board to any library branch to receive your completion prize and to be entered into the grand prize drawing.
