Art Junction Butterfly Craft

Did you know that August is known as the peak season for butterflies? Butterflies are found all over the world and they range in many different shapes and sizes. Butterflies have their own unique patterns on top of their wings. Did you know butterflies are pollinators too? If you find yourself in Washington, D.C., and are in the area, take a stroll through the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History Butterfly Pavilion. Head on over to Bookflix and read how a butterfly comes to be. Place Butterfly Park by Elly MacKay on hold via COSMOS to see how a community comes together to transform a community park into a butterfly haven.
