The Charles County Public Library (CCPL) doesn’t only provide services and resources inside of our branch locations, we are also actively involved in our community. The library regularly visits county schools, community centers, local events and more. Want to have the library participate in your community event or visit your school? Our Mobile Library and Outreach Van provide regular stops throughout the community each month, but if you’d like one of our vehicles to visit your area, click the button below to submit your request. 

We love to visit area schools or welcome students into our locations to spread the word about all of the great things the library has to offer. We can do story time, a presentation on library resources for students, teachers or parents, or set up an information table at your school. You can also request to visit a CCPL location. Click on the button below to send us your information.

Are you a community organization that would like to have the library at your event? Is your community or neighborhood hosting a special celebration and you’d like to have the library there? This form is for organizations looking to have the library set up a table that provides information on library services and resources. We can also sign up your event attendees for a free library card.   

***Please note that we will work to accommodate as many requests as possible, but we are unable to guarantee participation in every event. Any request made for an event outside of normal library hours of operation will be automatically denied as we are unable to staff events while our buildings are closed.
