Chromebook bundles are now available for checkout at all of our library branches! Whether you need it for an upcoming school project, checking your email, or just want to browse the web — a Chromebook can help you get there!
Customers must return the bundle to the branch where it was checked out. Bundles cannot be returned through the Book Drop. At the time of return, CCPL staff will inspect the Chromebook and hotspot to check their condition.
Please note: once you return the bundle, all documents/files will be deleted from the Chromebook. Make sure you save your documents before returning.
Chromebooks are only available as part of a bundle, which includes a mobile hotspot device. You can leave the mobile hotspot in the case if you do not need to use it. All pieces of the bundle must be returned, or be subject to replacement costs.
Our hotspots will only work if the network’s signal reaches the area. We cannot guarantee connectivity, but you may wish to view the network coverage maps in the area that you will mainly use the hotspot to get a general idea of coverage. Coverage maps are not guaranteed.
If you feel that the mobile hotspot is broken, you can return the entire Chromebook/hotspot bundle back to the branch where you checked it out and inform a library staff member. CCPL staff will assist you in troubleshooting the issue, or trying to get you a replacement bundle if one is available.
