  • Reindeer live in an environment called the Arctic Tundra, which means they live really far north in countries such as Canada, Russia, Greenland, and even Alaska in the United States.

  • In the United States, we call reindeer Caribou.

  • Reindeer are the only deer species where both males and females grow antlers.

  • Reindeer live together in herds.

  • They eat grasses, plants, and even a kind of moss called reindeer moss!
