Volunteering at CCPL is a great way to get involved in the community, share your talent, and gain experience.  Volunteer opportunities are made available for adults and teens (ages 13-18) to assist with a variety of projects and initiatives at the library.  Please feel free to visit your local library branch to inquire about volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer assignments may include:

  • Helping prepare story time crafts;
  • Assisting with programs;
  • Shelf reading (making sure books are in the right order);

  • Learning how to make simple book repairs;
  • Serving on the Board of Trustees;
  • On-going commitment to volunteer a few hours a week.

Please note that we are not always able to take on new volunteers and that these positions are unpaid.  Volunteers must successfully complete a background check.  Minors must have parent/guardian consent.
