Catherine Rupan Mapp is a Baltimore-based muralist and fiber artist whose work explores the intersections of culture, memory, music, and community. Aynex Mercado is a quilter who grew up in Puerto Rico and is now living in Frederick, Maryland. She learned to sew in high school and began to quilt following a spinal cord injury she sustained in a car accident.
