Let’s get exploring as we roll out another summer full of fun and engaging challenges, lots of prizes, hands-on learning, interactive programs and more with our 2024 Summer Learning Challenge: Adventure Awaits at Your Library! From June 8th through August 3rd, all ages can participate in this adventurous program by going to https://ccpl.beanstack.org. Our Summer Learning Challenge combines reading, attending virtual and in-person programs, completing fun challenges and activities, and more into an experience that promotes learning and gets everyone excited about reading again. And the best part is, it’s absolutely free!
Just for signing up, participants get a fun registration prize! Earn points to complete the program by reading or a combination of reading and activities. For every 10 minutes of reading, you will earn 1 pt. and completing activities will earn you 3-5 pts each. Once you earn 50 points for the Preschool Challenge or 100 points for the Children’s, Teens, or Adult Challenges, you’ll be entered into the grand prize drawings and get your awesome completion prize!

Join us for an unforgettable start to the summer at our 2024 Summer Learning Challenge Kick-Off Party! In partnership with the Charles County Department of Recreation, Parks, & Tourism, this free, family-friendly celebration marks the start of a summer filled with learning and exploration! Enjoy a day filled with SLC sign-ups, engaging STEAM activities, games, fitness demonstrations, giveaways, music, and more!
